Hi there and thanks!

I'm still getting the hang of all of this, :-) but just by way of introduction...

I'm Albert... and I lived at Esalen from 1995-2000. I was a dishwasher first, and then a gate guard, and then the Coordinator of the Friends of Esalen for about four years. I think that my time at Esalen was the most formative time of my life. II owe an eternal debt of gratitude to the place and to the teachers that I had the good fortune of studying with while there. John Soper, Chris Price, John Heider, Robert Hall, Dorothy Charles, Gesina Stratman, Eric Erikson, oh, there are too many to list.

I keep pretty close contact with the on-goings of the Institute and still have some dear friends who are there now.

My years at Esalen were beautiful and full and I am doing everything I can to bring more of this spirit into the world. If people have any good ideas about how we can do that I'd love to hear them...
