my story has become to long to tell. i`m 20. i`m homeless in mexico, hitch-hiking back to the states now. i`m a genius. i am "i saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness," but even more than all that, i am genuine. genuine is what i am. i don`t have a place to go. the pain in my spine, which has been gradually worsening for many years, has improved a little with consistant excersise from hiking all the time, but my ability to sleep only diminishes and deminshes. i am awake or dreaming at all times, my dreams... there are these visions as well...
write me, try to get to know me better. esalen looks like the place i need to go, but i don`t have the money nor the means to get the money, to stay for more than a few days, and that`s not going to do it. i would love to get a job there. can someone get me the hook up?

Re: i need a miracle
Fri, March 9, 2007 - 8:48 AMskylin... sorry i didn't see this earlier... So, just fyi... It is generally speaking somewhat difficult to get a paid or even a volunteer position at esalen. There is however a work-study program in which the fees are approximately $1096/ five weeks plus a 32hr per week time commitment, in exchange for being in an evening study group as well as room and board at Esalen. There may still be space in David Schiffman's workscholar program this month starting March 13, and you may contact the workscholar program for more info. See this link:
www.esalen.org/workshops/...study.shtml
This would be the place to begin.
Kind regards,
Albert
